Nick on Nick:
When I stopped fighting, I didn’t see me in the right fight. I just went ahead, quit fighting until that [Anderson Silva] came up. That was a big enough deal for me to come back and make a show.
Nick on his decision to agree to the fight with Anderson Silva:
We will see if it’s for the better. I could have not taken this fight. I’m here to fight.
Nick on bringing in Elite striking partners:
I have always had a lot of different kickboxer’s, Artem Levin [GLORY], being one of them. I have done more work with a lot more professional strikers than your average MMA Athletes, it was a great experience to train with them.
Nick on the outcome of the Anderson Silva fight:
I’m not in it to prove anything. I didn’t just wake up and say ‘I want to fight Anderson Silva’ it was just the kind of the way it was. I’m going to do, what I’m going to do. See how it goes. I just got to go out there and fight.
Nick on Training Full Stop:
It feels good to train for me. I have been doing it for so long [Triathlon’s], training or putting myself in some level of competition, I just really don’t feel right if I am not. To me I just have to do something.
