MACTO Championships took place last Saturday, June 27th at the ArenaMK, Stadium Way in Milton Keynes and boasted a stellar card for the evolving new promotion.

Macto is the evolution of the highly successful Too Much Talent promotion and retains its ethos of ‘doing it better’, so much so, with original founders of TMT James Lutman and Brad Burnell they teamed up with Wad Alameddine, Ross Laurence and Chris Emmanuel all of whom have a heavy UKMMA presence in their own rights.

UFC Fight Night 68 New Orleans Fight Results: Henderson KO’s Boestch in 28 seconds

UFC Fight Night 68 came from New Orleans on Saturday night and was a card which can only be described as a ‘bloody battle field’ at times.

The main event saw the ‘H-Bomb’ Dan Henderson prove yet again that, his age had no relevance by knocking out Tim Boestch in a stunning 0.28 seconds in round one. In the Co-Main event it was Ben Rothwell claiming a first round submission win over Matt Mitrione. And since returning to the lightweight division Dustin Poirier is still shining bright like ‘The Diamond’ he is by gaining a first round TKO win against Yancy Medeiros and in the process picking up a performance of the night bonus aswell.

UFC Fight Night 67 Results: Carlos Condit defeats Thiago Alves in a Vicious Bloody Battle

UFC Fight Night 67 came from Goiania in Brazil last night where “The Natural Born Killer” Carlos Condit defeated Thiago Alves in what turned out to be one bloody battle.

Although it was not the finish any fighter would want to end any fight, but when you’ve suffered a severe broken nose for which part of the bone ends up popping out near your eyebrow, the doctor has to make the right call, for which he made at the end of a vicious and bloody round two.

In the co-main event it was Charles Oliveira who won yet another thrilling back and forth fight against Nik Lentz via a super slick guillotine in the third round.

For everything that a fight should be and a fighter, competitor for whom has always carried himself with such grace, Mark Munoz closed his fighting career on a clear, winning, dominant performance over the UK’s Luke Barnatt in what can only be defined as ‘OUTSTANDING’.
