UFC Fight Night 63 came from Fairfax in Virginia, where Chad ‘Money’ Mendes defeated Ricardo ‘The Bully’ Lamas proving why he is the number 1 contender in the featherweight division. Mendes made short work of Lamas, lasting just 2 minutes 45 seconds to defeat ‘The Bully’.
In the co-main event between Jorge Masvidal and Al Iaquinta, it was the reaction after the fight that got everyone pumped. Iaquinta won via Split Decision (some went onto argue it should have been the other way around), Masvidal storms out of the cage; The arena echos with Boo’s as Iaquinta gives his post winning speech for which he proceeds to get upset and lands the F-bomb, cursing the crowd out!

Last night UFC Fight Night 62, came from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, where in the main event, welterweight Demian Maia put on a tactical clinic to cruise to a unanimous decision over Ryan LaFlare.
In the co-main event, Josh Koscheck suffered his fifth consecutive loss to Erick Silva via Guillotine Choke in the opening round. He is now faced with the ultimate decision, as to what is best for himself and his career. Whatever he decides, all I can say, is that it has been a pleasure for me, personally, to have watched him for the last ten years since TUF 1.
Controversy surrounded the Leandro Silva Vs. Drew Dober fight, due to the fact referee, Eduardo Herdy stopped the action mid fight just as Dober was about to escape Silva’s attempt at a Guillotine Choke (even the Brazilian fans were astonished). In light of these actions Dana White gave Dober his show money, and WIN money.

Titan Fighting Championships held their thirty-third event last night (or early hours of the morning if you were watching in the UK), in Alabama, for their biggest event to date; whilst I would guarantee the majority of fans would have been looking at the Main Card event, for which had 3 Title fights by the way of former Bellator featherweight contender and Titan FC featherweight champion Desmond Green against Strikeforce vet and one-time UFC competitor Kurt Holobaugh, Pat Healy faced Kurt Kinser for the lightweight belt and Jon Madsen faced Chase Gormley for the heavyweight title belt.

It was the event we was all waiting for, UFC 185 where we would get to witness great elite, MMA athletes in a double-header Championship Title Event.
The whole card did not let us down, from the very first opening card right up to Anthony Pettis, Main Card Title defence fight.
There were far too many standout fighters for me to mention, they all did bring their A Game, with the exceptional few who lost out to what we could only describe, as this is why we love watching MMA, as anything can happen, and did!

Tonight was the night, that UFC women’s bantamweight number one contender, Cat Zingano finally got her chance to fight Ronda Rousey for the bantamweight title, just under two years in the making.
With a night filled of finishes from top to bottom from the rest of the UFC 184 card, it was of course Ronda Rousey herself who stood out in incredible style and proved again why she is the women’s bantamweight champion needing just fourteen seconds to defeat Cat Zingano.

Bellator 134 dubbed ‘The British Invasion’ finally went down last night at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. Although one could argue it was not a full ‘British Invasion’ due to Michael Page and James Thompson having to withdraw from the card due to injury, it was at very best a fine result for the Brits involved.
